Bogor Heritage Foundation, also known as Yayasan Pusaka Bogor, is an institution dedicated to the development of education in the fields of tourism and hospitality. Located in Bogor, Indonesia, the foundation was established in 1999 and officially registered with the Regional Government Agency (OPD) of Bogor City in 2013 under registration number 460/433-Bangsos and with the West Java Social Service in 2014 under registration number 062/4247/PPSKS/01/04/2014. Since its inception, the foundation has been committed to advancing education in the tourism and hospitality sectors. One of its initial programs, Bogor Hotel Institute, later evolved into Sekolah Tinggi Pariwisata (STP) Bogor, a higher education institution under the foundation’s management.
As an organization focused on human resource development in the tourism and hospitality industry, Bogor Heritage Foundation plays a key role in expanding educational opportunities for young generations through scholarship programs at STP Bogor. Currently, STP Bogor offers two main study programs: Hospitality (Associate’s Degree/D3 and Bachelor of Applied Science/D4) and Tourism (Bachelor’s Degree/S1). These programs are designed to produce highly skilled professionals who are ready to compete in the global job market.
In addition to STP Bogor, the Bogor Heritage Foundation oversees several other institutions, including:
● BHI Course and Training Institute (LKP-BHI), a one-year vocational training program specializing
in Hotel Operation, Caregiving, and Digital Marketing, equipping students with practical skills to
enter the workforce efficiently.
● STP Bogor Professional Certification Institute / Lembaga Sertifikasi Profesi STP Bogor (LSP STP
Bogor), a Professional Certification Institution (P1) licensed by the National Professional
Certification Agency (BNSP) to conduct competency assessments in the field of tourism for STP
Bogor students.
● The Research and Community Service Institute (LPPM STP Bogor), a research and community
service center that provides faculty members with opportunities to advance their expertise
through academic research and community engagement programs.
● Quality Assurance Institute Lembaga Penjaminan Mutu (LPM STP Bogor), a Quality Assurance
Institution responsible for maintaining the educational standards of STP Bogor. LPM STP Bogor
is committed to establishing STP Bogor as a globally competitive higher education institution in
tourism by 2030 through the implementation of continuous quality improvement (CQI) and
quality control mechanisms.
